Bioanalytics II

Biophysics Group / Nussberger Lab

Modern bioanalytics contributes to the solution of challenging tasks in different areas of life science. Important tools include classical techniques such as x-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy for the three-dimensional structure determination of large macromolecular complexes, super-resolution microscopy for the resolution of objects below the diffraction limit of 200 nm, and nano-pore arrays for high-resolution single-molecule analysis. This lecture series deals with these topics; it is designed for students in the master's programs in Technical Biology and Biomedical Engineering.
