Welcome to the Systems Neurobiology Research Unit at the IBBS

Our research is concerned with the neural mechanisms underlying learning and decision making using rodent models

Learning and decision making

The topic of my research unit refers to the understanding of neural mechanisms that account for learning and decision making using rodent models. The main purpose of our current work is to understand the role of specific circuits and transmitter molecules of the brain. Therefore, we use a range of modern methods of brain research.
